Vegetable delivery in Al Barsha

Al Barsha is the most mixed area we deliver to — villas through Barsha 1 and 2, mid-rise apartment blocks on the Sheikh Zayed side, newer buildings out towards Barsha South. That is two quite different deliveries under one name, and the address you give us decides which one we are doing.

For apartments we need the building name and the flat, and it is worth mentioning if the parking is underground with a height limit, because a few of them are tight. For villas, the street and villa number, plus a note if there is a gate. "Behind Mall of the Emirates" is a fine landmark and a poor address.

What people here order

Al Barsha orders sit between the two extremes — bigger than a Marina flat, smaller than a Jumeirah villa. There are a lot of sharing households and larger families here, which is why the box units get used more than the kilo on the staples, and why chillies, ginger and the herb bunch leave here in quantities that surprise anyone who has not cooked South Asian food at scale.

It is also a busy area for small food businesses — the cafeterias and takeaways through Barsha 1 and along the Umm Al Sheif side. Box pricing covers a good deal of that. For a standing order, the wholesale enquiry form gets you a better answer than the checkout will.

Timing

Deliveries run daily, 07:00 to 22:00, in the slot you choose. The Sheikh Zayed interchanges and the mall traffic shape the day here — weekend afternoons around Mall of the Emirates are the slowest hours of our week, so take a morning slot on a Saturday or Sunday if the time matters to you.
