Twenty fruits, restocked daily. Part of this page is fixed all year — apples, bananas, oranges, grapes — and part of it comes and goes: Alfonso mangoes for a few weeks in the Indian season, strawberries when they are worth buying, UAE watermelon and sweet melon through the hot months.
A word on ripeness, since it is what people ask about most. We send avocados, mangoes, peaches and bananas firm rather than ready. It is not an oversight. Ripe fruit does not survive a delivery van in a Dubai summer, and a firm avocado leaves you the choice of when to eat it. Every product page says how many days it needs on the counter and what to look or smell for.

Common questions
Are your fruits ripe when they arrive?
Some are, some are deliberately not. Apples, oranges, grapes, pomegranate and watermelon arrive ready to eat. Avocado, mango, peach, papaya and banana are sent firm on purpose, because ripe fruit does not survive a delivery van in this climate. Each product page says how many days it needs on the counter.
When are Alfonso mangoes available?
For a few weeks in the Indian season, and then not at all. It is a short window and we sell what we can get. Check the Fruits page in season or ask us directly — we do not hold stock out of season and we will not substitute a different mango for it.
Which fruits keep the longest?
Apples are the best keepers — green apples will go a month refrigerated. Pomegranate holds two weeks on the counter and a month in the fridge. At the other end, strawberries give you two or three days and are worth buying only to eat soon.
Are the fruits locally grown or imported?
It depends on the item and the season. Watermelon and sweet melon are usually UAE-grown through the hot months. Alfonso mangoes and pomegranates come from India, and the apples, kiwi and berries are imported. Each product page states the origin we are currently buying that item from.
Should fruit go in the fridge?
Once ripe, almost all of it should. The exceptions matter though: never refrigerate a hard mango, peach or avocado, because cold stops the ripening permanently and you end up with fruit that goes soft without ever developing flavour. And bananas should never go in while they are still green.
