Vegetable delivery in Jumeirah

Jumeirah is villas, and villa deliveries are the easy ones — a gate, a driveway, somewhere to set a box down. We deliver across Jumeirah 1, 2 and 3 every day.

The one thing worth putting in the order notes is gate access. Many of the compounds off Al Wasl Road and the streets between Jumeirah Road and Al Wasl have a guarded entrance or a keypad, and villa numbering in the older streets does not always run in an order a driver can guess. A street number, a villa number and "the gate code is X" turns a fifteen-minute hunt into a two-minute drop.

What people here order

Larger orders, and more of the fruit than anywhere else we deliver. Jumeirah households tend to order for a full week rather than for two days, which changes what makes sense: boxes over kilos on the things that keep — potatoes, onions, carrots, apples, pomegranate — and small quantities of the leafy items twice a week rather than one big bag on Sunday.

That split is worth taking seriously in this climate. Green apples will hold a month in a fridge and onions will hold longer than that in a dark cupboard, but a herb bunch bought on Sunday and used on Thursday is not the same herb bunch. If you want one delivery a week, buy the keepers in bulk and the leaves small — it costs less than throwing half of them out.

Timing

Deliveries run daily from 07:00 to 22:00 in the slot you book. Jumeirah Road and Al Wasl both back up around the school runs, in the morning and again in the early afternoon, so slots either side of those are the ones that land closest to the time we promised. Delivery is free over AED 500 and the charge below that is shown at checkout before you confirm. Payment is cash to the driver.

Common questions

Do you deliver to gated compounds in Jumeirah?
Yes. Put the gate code or the guard's instructions in the order notes along with the street and villa number. Villa numbering in the older Jumeirah streets does not always run in a predictable order, so the code saves everyone a lap.
Is one delivery a week enough for a family?
For the things that keep, easily — potatoes, onions, carrots, apples and pomegranate will all last the week or longer. For the herb bunch, the lettuces and the berries it is not, and buying those in a big weekly quantity mostly means throwing some away. Bulk on the keepers, small on the leaves.
